Establishing a Fund

  1. Chapters or individuals may establish a fund in the Foundation with a required minimum permanent balance of $5,000. The Foundation will hold the current balance if the minimum can be reached in a reasonable time, preferably four years. Canadians will have five years to reach the $5,000, United States currency.
  2. The fund may be established in the donor's name or in the name of one being honored or memorialized.
  3. Form F-EF, "Establishing a New Fund in P.E.O. Foundation," as well as Form F-OPT, "Options for establishing New Funds" and Form F-SO, "Options for Scholarship Funds," may be downloaded from this webpage. These forms will provide information necessary to establish a fund.

Contributions

  1. Gifts and bequests may be made in cash, marketable securities and other income-producing property, life insurance and testamentary bequests in wills. Cash gifts should be made by check payable to the P.E.O. Foundation; gifts of marketable securities should be transferred into the name of P.E.O. Foundation.
  2. Gifts may be sent to P.E.O. Foundation, P.E.O. Executive Office, 3700 Grand Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50312-2899, or through local chapters for gift credit.
